About the Author

For over thirty years, Mr Jones wrote science fiction and science non-fiction, including numerous books for young people. He began writing science fiction as a teenager and went on to produce sixteen science fiction novels and dozens of short stories. Always interested in science, Mr Jones was a meteorological observer for the U.S. Weather Bureau. His subsequent occupation was supervising the preparation of military technical manuals on complex radar equipment and other weapons systems.
