About the Author

Karin Jobst, born in Landshut, Germany, in 1973, studied with Katharina Bosse in Bielefeld, graduating in 2007, and was a master student with Silke Grossmann and Wim Wenders at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg.Karin Jobst lives and works in Hamburg. Nancy Barr is a native Detroiter and associate curator at the Detroit Institute of Arts - currently at work on future exhibitions of photography and ongoing research about the DIA's permanent collection of photography.
