About the Author

Hagar N. Alfi, M.A. has been working with young children as an early education teacher for several years. Hagar completed her M.A. in Early Childhood Education from Loyola Marymount University. Prior to her graduate work, she completed her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Hagar is an avid camper and traveler, and an advocate for organic learning. Open Your Eyes is Hagar's first published children's book.
